For more than 10 years, Eiffage Construction has been working for the ecological transition by placing low-carbon actions at the heart of its strategy. More generally, the group's strategy aims to develop new low-carbon offers by developing and imagining economical and efficient solutions with the aim of improving the quality of life of the inhabitants of the cities of tomorrow.

Eiffage Construction's Eastern region teams are no exception to the rule, as evidenced by the design and construction of a biomass power plant in Novillars to replace the Fessenheim nuclear power plant. More recently, the construction of the eco-neighborhood of the Dijon International City of Gastronomy and Wine (CIGV), by reusing 100% of the rubble from the demolition on the platform and roads, testifies to the group's desire to act to a carbon-free future

Today, the commitment of our teams in the Eastern region is taking a new turn with the gradual transition to 100% electric mobility. By 2030, a reduction of almost 50% in CO 2 emissions is expected.

The regional management therefore organized a day of presentation of 100% electric vehicles to its employees. The purpose of this was to inform and make our teams aware of the need to adopt soft modes of mobility. What better way to distance yourself from prejudice than to take a trip at the wheel of an electric vehicle?

More than 50 employees were able to discover the vehicles of Dijon car dealers. Many thanks to Volkswagen ByMyCar Dijon, Hyundai Dijon, Peugeot Dijon and Volvo Nudant Automobiles.
