Accessible, Compact and Simple-to-Use Design

Designed for Primary Care Setting

OC-SENSOR Ceres requires no cell washing, no purified water supply system, and minimal drainage. Build-in refrigerator for on-board reagents enables good stability after opening reagents, even for small number of tests.

Easy Operation

OC-SENSOR Ceres introduces random access sample processing of multiple test parameters and reports quantitative results in as little as 8 minutes.

OC-SENSOR Ceres Enhances Clinical Pathways

OC-SENSOR Ceres enables faecal testing in outpatient and in-hospital settings. This reduces patient waiting time and allows decision making for referrals or further investigation in a single visit.

Faecal Immunochemical Test (FIT) and Faecal Calprotectin Test (FCa)

A common Sampling Bottle reduces the burden of instructing patients on stool sampling and managing sampling devices, which used to be different for each test item.

Sampling Bottle is common for FIT, Faecal Calprotectin (FCa) and more test items.

The extraction is completed in Sampling Bottle.

For patients, only one stool collection is required to test for both FIT and FCa.
For doctors, getting results for both FIT and FCa in a short time helps in appropriate decision making for referral or further investigation.

High-End Performance in a Compact Body

OC-SENSOR Ceres achieves the analytical performance of the high-end model, OC-SENSOR PLEDIA, in a local laboratory environment.

Laboratory Quality Controls
  • OC-SENSOR Ceres is equipped with functions comparable to high-end models. It also eliminates concerns about inter-facility differences caused by decentralising test locations.
  • Test order and results output is made with LIS bidirectional connection. QC results can be displayed in X-R control chart. Test ID, operator ID, reagent lot & exp. date, and QC reference range can be managed by barcode, which enables integrated information management in laboratory processes.
  • OC-SENSOR Ceres supports facilities that comply with ISO 15189 requirements.

Management for instrument and reagent conditions are monitored through the X-R QC chart, auto CV calculation and a host of other functions.

Patient ID , lot no. and expiration date are automatically read by the build-in barcode reader.

Handy barcode reader is optionally available for calibrator and QC lot numbers and expiry dates, QC reference ranges and operator-IDs.
