Electrica Puntilla SA is a Chile-based company engaged in the utilities sector. The Company’s main activites comprise the generation and distribution of electric powe, through the operation of the hydroelectric stations of Puntilla, Florida, Eyzaguirre and Rincon. The Company is also involved in the supply to the Central National Grid (SIC). In addition, the Company provides services related to the distribution and supply of drinking water, as well as the collection and treatment of sewage water. In October, 2013, the Company signed a contract to buy some assets from Compania General de Electricidad SA and its subsidiaries, Enerplus SA and Transnet SA.
