Electricite de France SA said Tuesday that it has agreed to sell its interest in the 870-megawatt Sloe CCGT plant in the Netherlands to Czech operator EPH Group.

The French utility owns and operates 50% of the power plant, jointly with its Dutch partner Pzem NV.

The transaction is part of EDF's EUR3-billion asset disposal program, the company said. Closing is subject to customary regulatory authorizations.

The financial terms of the transaction weren't disclosed.
