LONDON (Reuters) - Britain's West Burton C power station has been granted development consent, the UK'S Planning Inspectorate said on Wednesday.
The gas-fired power plant will have a capacity of 299 megawatts and will be developed by EDF Energy in Linconshire, England.
Once operational, the plant would provide generation as and when required and is not expected to run continuously.
