ELICA'S HOOD AND MOTOR DIVISIONS TOP MANANGEMENT

Fabriano, 06 September 2021 - Elica, world leader in the production of kitchen hoods and extractor hobs, in addition to being a European leader in the production of electric motors for home ventilation, has appointed Mr. Luca Barboni as Managing Director of the Cooking Business Unit and Mr. Giacomo Iannelli as Managing Director of the Motor Business Unit.

Luca Barboni, 45 years old from Marche, will follow Mr. Gianguido Cerullo in the position, with the goal of ensuring continuity to Elica business, especially in the hood and extractor hob sector.

Boasting a long career in the company, he started in 2003 in the Research and Development department as Project Leader; then continued his professional path in the Sales department until he moved to FIME, the motor manufacturing company of the Elica Group, where he contributed in business growth and expansion into international markets. He has held various positions in Elica since 2012, first as Business Director, then as Chief Operating Officer, to becoming Managing Director of the Motor Business Unit, also driving the recent acquisition of E.M.C. and CPS, European leaders in the design and production of electric motors, extraction systems for kitchen hoods, pellet stove extractors and motors for medical applications.

As a result of Mr. Barboni's new position in the Cooking Business Unit, Mr. Giacomo Iannelli, also from Marche, will move to the Motor Division, taking on the job of Managing Director. In his new role, he will be engaged in facilitating integration of E.M.C. and CPS in the industrial structure of Elica Group, as well as in contributing to the continuous enhancement of the entire Group.
