between Tecomec and Dinamica Generale

Bagnolo in Piano (RE), 10 October 2013 - Emak announces that late last night the subsidiary Tecomec S.r.l. has entered into a contract with Dinamica Generale S.p.A. for the incorporation of a new company, Geoline Electronic S.r.l..
Today's contract follows the agreement signed between Tecomec and Dinamica Generale on 12 July 2013 aimed at broadening the collaboration between the two companies, already linked by a supply relationship, for the technical-commercial development of electronic products to be sold with the Geoline brand name.
Geoline Electronic S.r.l., 51% of whose share capital will be held by Tecomec, will carry out the development and production of electronic control systems for applications in the Agricultural sector. 

The operation, valued at € 2.7 million, will allow Tecomec S.r.l. to complete its range of products, thereby improving its offer to customers, widen its customer base, exploit opportunities for cross-selling through the distribution of products already available in Dinamica Generale's portfolio and, in general, strengthen its market position.

In addition, through this operation, Emak Group will acquire specific know-how in the electronics field, making it possible not only to develop the Geoline business, but also other product families and other markets of the Group.

The agreement provides for the incorporation of Geoline Electronic on the part of Dinamica Generale by next November. The company branch composed of electronic products already developed by Dinamica Generale in the "agri" sector will be transferred by 10 January 2014 to the new company along with relative resources and skills. By the same date Tecomec S.r.l. will acquire 51% of the share capital.

Tecomec S.r.l. is a leading company in the production and sale of components and accessories for gardening, forestry, high-pressure washing and agriculture. In this last sector Tecomec operates through the  Geoline division, the activities of which include the planning, production and sale of accessories and components for weeding and spraying agricultural machinery.

Dinamica Generale S.p.A. is a company that carries on the research, development and production of electronic, electro-mechanical and mechanical equipment; it has focused its attention on the planning and production of load cells and innovative electronic weighing systems applied to the agricultural market, besides operating in the industrial and medical sector offering high-tech customised systems.
