'We go way back', Anne Bourguignon says, about the links between Emakina and the CAD-Brussels international College of Advertising & Design.

As Creativity Department Director of Emakina's Brussels office, Anne speaks fondly of the school. Several talented interns and colleagues at Emakina developed their skills and insights there, before landing a seat on board of Emakina's creative starship.

So, it was logical that Emakina hooked up with the respected institute for advertising, digital and 3D Image Design, when they decided to organize their very own TEDx event. That's the program of local, self-organised events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.

And now we're nearly there. TEDxCADBrussels will take place on November 10th 2018, from 12 pm to 6 pm. Staying true to its community of creative people, this year's theme is 'Creativity is Power'. So, it's time to get your ticket and join the event!

For this first edition, you have the chance to be inspired by 11 awe-inspiring speakers and stimulating performers. Join in the fun and excitement, together with the CAD teachers, alumni, students, internship supervisors, employers and the broader creative CAD network.

The programme and the list of guests is very promising…

Co-founder of LASSA Architects Theo Sarantoglou Lalis will share insights about how digital design and manufacturing are transforming the architectural practice.

Arnaud de la Tour, VP and co-founder of Hello Tomorrow will also speak, as will Ukrainian-American global artist Maya Hayuk, Finnish Skater and designer Oona Sainio, and passionate scientific communication expert Jean-Marc Mosselmans.

Belgian Social media stars Camille and Jean from @backpackdiariez will share how you can make travelling your full-time job, while experienced brainstormer and creative problem solver Marianne Behaeghel will develop ideas on training exercises for the creativity muscle.

And there is more… Other guests include Christian Guellerin, the French top designer, and Jean-Marc Rodelet, co-author of 'Shark Human Interaction'.

And as musical bonus, you can (re)discover Glass Museum, the successful duo Martin Grégoire and Antoine Flipo, who won the 'Tremplin de Dour' and are turning a new leaf with their album Deux.
