São José dos Campos, Brazil, July 16, 2021 - Embraer called today an Extraordinary Shareholders' Meeting to be held on August 16, to elect two new members to the Board of Directors. The nominees are Todd M. Freeman and Kevin G. McAllister, who are both foreigners with recognized global experience in the commercial aviation sector. Todd Freeman worked at General Electric Company for 29 years. During his time with the company, he spent 18 years with GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), where he led the regional aviation area, as well as business in the Middle East, Africa, and Russia. Prior to GE, Todd worked at Airbus Americas and JP Morgan. He has a degree in Accounting, with an MBA in Finance and Strategy. Kevin McAllister boasts an extensive career with GE with 27 years dedicated to aircraft engines. Kevin led the sales area at the company and was president of GE Aviation Services. After GE, he served at Boeing as president of the commercial aviation division and is currently a partner at AP Industrial Partners. He is an engineer and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh. After the election of the two new members, the company's Board of Directors will be composed of 10 independent directors. This composition will be maintained until the next board election in 2023.
