Emera Incorporated reported earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2022. For the first quarter, the company reported sales was CAD 2,015 million compared to CAD 1,612 million a year ago. Revenue was CAD 2,015 million compared to CAD 1,612 million a year ago. Net income was CAD 378 million compared to CAD 283 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was CAD 1.38 compared to CAD 1.08 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was CAD 1.38 compared to CAD 1.08 a year ago.
