Pursuant to what is established in article 9 and in subsection two of article 10 of the Securities Market Law, I hereby duly empowered inform you, as material fact, that the Board of Directors, at its ordinary meeting yesterday, was informed of the resignation of Mr. Bernardo Matte L. as a director.
The Board of Directors took the opportunity to thank Mr. Matte for his valuable work as a director of CMPC during the time he held that position and agreed to appoint Mr. Bernardo Larraín M. as his replacement, effective as of that date.
