The European Commission published the Union-wide performance targets for the period 2020-2024
Rome, June 4, 2021 - ENAV informs that the European Commission (EC) published the Union-wide performance targets (Decision EU 2021/891) for European Air Navigation Services Providers (ANSPs) related to the third regulatory period (RP3) which covers the years from 2020 to 2024.
Published targets take into account suggestions coming from the Performance Review Board (PRB) and have been defined after consultation and discussions between Member States and the European Commission.
Consistently with indications included in EU Regulation 2020/1627 already published by European Commission in November 2020, Member States will have to submit new RP3 Performance Plans, based on the targets, no later than the first of October 2021.

Following the RP3 cost-efficiency targets:
En-route Union-wide cost-efficiency targets*: -3% for the years 2020-2021; -6% in 2022; -4% in 2023 and -3% in 2024.
Which translate into the following:
En-route Union-wide cost-efficiency targets on Determined Unit Cost**: +120.1% for the years 2020-2021; -38.5% in 2022; -13.2% in 2023; -11.5% in 2024
* % Change in comparison to 2019 Union-wide actual determined costs.
** YoY Change %. 2019 figure to be utilized as baseline.
