• King Felipe VI will chair the Honorary Committee of the Financial Forum Spain Investors Day (SID), which is to be held next January in Madrid.
  • A total of 42 large Spanish listed companies have already confirmed their attendance at the 11th Edition of the SID.
  • The CEO of the electricity company, José Bogas Gálvez, has deemed it 'especially important, in these difficult times, to support companies and the Spanish economy as a whole in their dealings with international investors so that the latter can regain their confidence in Spain.'

Endesa today signed the agreement to sponsor the Spain Investors Day (SID), the underlying objective of which is to work so that investors can have accurate knowledge about the situation of the Spanish economy and so that listed companies can present their future plans to the largest possible number of large funds and investment entities and, ultimately, generate business opportunities in Spain.

Endesa has thus joined the efforts of the Forum to reactivate the economy and strengthen the image of Spain and its main listed companies in the international arena. In the words of its CEO, José Bogas Gálvez, 'our company considers it especially important to collaborate and support companies and the Spanish economy as a whole in times of great difficulty such as those we are experiencing. It is necessary to recover investment levels in our country as soon as possible and to regain and strengthen the trust shown by large international investors in our companies.' Bogas stressed that 'the electricity sector has been called upon to play a key role in all of this as a driver of the intense Energy Transition process that we will be experiencing in the coming decade.'
