DUBLIN (AP) _ Endo International PLC (ENDP) on Thursday reported a loss of $77.2 million in its third quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Dublin-based company said it had a loss of 33 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs and to account for discontinued operations, were 80 cents per share.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 46 cents per share.

The health care company posted revenue of $772 million in the period, which also beat Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $667.9 million.

Endo expects full-year earnings in the range of $2.80 to $2.85 per share, with revenue in the range of $2.9 billion to $2.94 billion.
