Enel Chile S.A. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was CLP 762,779.38 million compared to CLP 655,662.55 million a year ago. Revenue was CLP 777,464.61 million compared to CLP 659,958.93 million a year ago. Net loss was CLP 15,036.59 million compared to net income of CLP 101,887.9 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was CLP 0.22 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of CLP 1.47 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was CLP 0.22 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of CLP 1.47 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was CLP 2,034,350.43 million compared to CLP 1,924,564.86 million a year ago. Revenue was CLP 2,060,379.09 million compared to CLP 1,947,465.3 million a year ago. Net income was CLP 48,403.42 million compared to net loss of CLP 226,053.53 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was CLP 0.7 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of CLP 3.27 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was CLP 0.7 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of CLP 3.27 a year ago.
