(Alliance News) - Companies are increasingly geared toward extra yield. After Enel, BPER Banca, Hera, and Credit Agricole Italia have also started 2025 by issuing bonds, as Milano Finanza writes Thursday.
BPER placed a EUR500 million, 6-year senior non-preferred bond, with demand reaching EUR2.7 billion, allowing the spread to narrow from 165 to 130 basis points, the newspaper continues.
The annual coupon is 3.625 percent. Credit Agricole Italia issued a EUR1 billion bond with a 9-year maturity, raising orders for more than EUR7 billion and reducing the spread to 88 basis points.
Hera, meanwhile, launched its fourth EUR500 million green bond, with demand of EUR2.75 billion, intended to finance sustainable projects in water, circular economy and energy transition.
