Energisa S.A. reported consolidated and parent earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2019. For the quarter, on consolidated basis, the company reported revenues of BRL 7,042.873 million against BRL 5,715.294 million a year ago. Net operating revenue was BRL 4,702.984 million compared to BRL 3,886.591 million a year ago. Earnings before interest and tax was BRL 550.502 million against BRL 392.040 million a year ago. Net loss for the period was BRL 8.860 million compared with income of BRL 103.436 million a year ago.
For the quarter, on parent basis, the company reported revenues of BRL 62.848 million against BRL 47.647 million a year ago. Net operating revenue was BRL 55.383 million compared to BRL 42.061 million a year ago. Earnings before interest and tax was BRL 221.596 million against BRL 142.564 million a year ago. Net loss for the period was BRL 30.953 million compared with income of BRL 101.164 million a year ago. Net loss per share was BRL 0.02 compared to income of BRL 0.06 a year ago.
For the six months, on consolidated basis, the company reported revenues of BRL 14,178.533 million against BRL 11,125.718 million a year ago. Net operating revenue was BRL 9,467.069 million compared to BRL 7,558.646 million a year ago. Earnings before interest and tax was BRL 1,077.707 million against BRL 897.820 million a year ago. Net income for the period was BRL 119.914 million compared with income of BRL 245.733 million a year ago.
For the six months, on parent basis, the company reported revenues of BRL 116.054 million against BRL 87.446 million a year ago. Net operating revenue was BRL 102.418 million compared to BRL 77.196 million a year ago. Earnings before interest and tax was BRL 510.896 million against BRL 407.087 million a year ago. Net income for the period was BRL 82.569 million compared with income of BRL 232.204 million a year ago. Net income per share was BRL 0.05 compared to income of BRL 0.13 a year ago.

It distributes energy for residential, industrial, commercial and rural consumption.
