MATERIAL FACT Startup of the Parnaíba II Plant Rio de Janeiro, July 1, 2016 - ENEVA S.A. ("ENEVA" or "Company") (BM&FBOVESPA: ENEV3, GDR I: ENEVY) hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general that, on the date hereof, Parnaíba II CCGT ("Plant"), with an installed capacity of 518.8MW, has begun commercial operations, as authorized by the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (Aneel). The Plant has started to supply energy to a group of distribution companies under the terms of the Regulated Market Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) secured in the A-3 auction of 2011. The PPA has a 20-year term and its annual capacity payment, indexed to the IPCA inflation index, amounts to approximately R$425 million (reference date: November 2015). Total contractual revenues also include a variable component to cover fuel, operation and maintenance costs incurred when the Plant is required to generate power by the ONS, Brazil's National Power System Operator.
