TEVX Higer's Azure A12 BR model is 100% electric, totally free of CO2 emssions and noise, and being tested at the airport terminal in Recife, state of Pernambuco. The idea is to use the vehicle for passenger transportation within the confines of the airport, replacing fossil fuel-powered buses and thus reducing carbon emissions. The Azure A12BR has an autonomy of 270 km and is powered exclusively by batteries with a recharging time of up to three hours.
An internationl bellwether in low carbon services, ENGIE offers sustainable solutions for companies and cities around Brazil. The partnership with Aena - which operates six airports in Brazil - is in line with the company's objectives for achieving Net Zero Carbon by 2045.

Currently, Aena Brasil is investing in structural work at the airports it manages so that they may be more sustainable. Committed to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals 2030, one of Aena's first measures is to promote investments in the transformation of its airports in the Northeast for adopting the use of energy from 100% renewable sources and certified for the managment of the terminals. The company's target is to reach carbon neutrality by 2026 and Zero Emissions by 2040.
