Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB announced that it has appointed a new head for its banking services. The company has hired Christoffer Malmer as head of SEB Embedded. This is a new business unit created to commercialise SEB's banking-as-a-service activities.

Malmer currently leads SEB's innovation studio, SEBx. Chief information officer, Nicolas Moch is to take over as head of SEBx. Svante Hedin, currently deputy head within fixed income, currency and commodity markets, has been appointed as the firm's new chief information officer.
