IT SEEMS the love for a flutter is very much alive, with Ladbrokes and Coral hitting 20,000 bets-per minute in the run up to last weekend's Grand National. An estimated 12.75m bets were taken by Entain-owned brands across the three day race period, with deputy digital director Dom Grounsell saying the group "pulled out all the stops" during the event. The annual event is the biggest 10 minutes of the year in the horse racing calendar.
