NOTICE TO THE MARKET
Equatorial Energia S.A. ("Company"), pursuant article 12 of CVM Instruction 358, from January 3, 2002, and as required by International Finance Corporation ("IFC"), informs the market the following:
On April 07, 2016, IFC's holding in the Company's shares fell below the 5% threshold and amounted to 9,861,600 shares or 4.97% of the total shares outstanding.
On April 05, 2016, before falling below the 5% threshold, IFC held 10,042,800 shares in the Company, equal to 5.06% of the total shares outstanding.
