Equinor reports that a new report shows that deliveries for exploration, exploitation and modification of the onshore fields and plants operated by Equinor in Norway exceeded NOK 93 billion in 2022 (or almost 8 billion euros), an increase of around 13% on the previous year.

' Our activities create significant ripple effects on a national and local scale. Equinor's exploration, operation and maintenance activities generated 63,000 person-years of employment across the country last year. More than 1,700 Norwegian companies invoiced a total of NOK 87 billion in these segments' said the company's Executive Vice President for Exploration and Production in Norway (EPN), Kjetil Hove,

Equinor has purchased goods and services from the Norwegian supplier industry for the operation of the NCS fields for NOK 70.6 billion in 2022. Exploration activities generated Norwegian supplies worth NOK 6.1 billion.

The oil supply industry is Norway's second largest industry in terms of sales, after oil and gas operators, and is therefore of significant importance to the Norwegian economy.
