Press Release

In operation three wind farms for a total of 77 MW in the United Kingdom and France

Genoa, 29 December 2021 - ERG has announced the commissioning of its first two wind farms in the UK at Craiggore and Evishagaran, in County Londonderry in Northern Ireland, with a capacity of 23.5 MW and 46.8 MW each, for a total of 70.3 MW.

In addition, to be noted is the commissioning of the Vallée de l'Aa wind farm at Pas-de-Calais, in Hauts-de-France for 7 MW. The project is the extension of the 13.2 MW Parc Eolien Vallée de l'Aa 2 launched by the Group at the end of 2018.

The internally developed and built wind farms, will have a total production of about 268 GWh per year when fully operational, thus avoiding the emission of 130,000 tons of CO2 each year.

Paolo Merli, CEO of ERG, stated: "ERG's path of organic growth abroad continues with the entry into operation of 77 MW of wind energy in Northern Ireland and France, that will give their full contribution in 2022. France and the United Kingdom are priority markets for the geographical diversification strategy with which the Group will consolidate its presence in Europe".
