Some small actions or "low hanging fruits" that companies can start to put in action to reduce the emissions derivated of the packaging production.

Moving towards a more responsible production by progressively reducing the emissions of CO2 associated with it, is a goal included in most of the Corporate Sustainability Agendas.

Some companies are aiming to be net zero by 2030 and, for that, they are making changes in all their manufacturing and distribution, as well as making sure their suppliers are committed to reducing their environmental impact too.

Reducing Packaging emissions is not a simple task to take, it involves making changes, some of them very complex, especially when it comes to replacing materials or structures.

In Essentra Packaging, we are continuously working with customers to improve the sustainability impact of their packaging. We are involved both in complex projects affecting a large part of our customer's portfolio and also in suggesting small changes that can reduce emissions while having very low impact on the industriability.
