On this occasion, Dr. Taweesak Bunluesin (3rd from left), Esso director accompanied by Tipsukol Duangthip (2nd from left), public affairs & administrative manager of Esso Sriracha Refinery and Yuttana Ua-Amporn (1st from left), community relations advisor, ExxonMobil Limited, participated in presiding the contest being held at the Twee Hormchong auditorium, Institute of Marine Science. Participants included marine scientists and researchers from the Institute of Marine Science, lecturers of Engineering Faculty from Burapha University and seven participating schools. The winning prize of 8,000 baht including a certificate goes to Chonradsadornumrung School. The 1st runner-up with the prize of 5,000 Baht including a certificate goes to Banglamung School.

'This robot camp will help enhance both technology and creativity skills via the design of robots for garbage collection. In the meantime, all participants will realize and understand current marine waste situation. On this occasion, I would like to congratulate the winning team, the 1st runner-up and all participating schools in their efforts and innovations. I hope every team has learned and developed their scientific skills in STEM robotics through the invention of robot under the supervision of the engineering students and faculty members of Engineering Faculty , and scientists of Institute of Marine Science of Burapha university,' Dr. Taweesak said.
