Etteplan Oyj : expansion in China reaches a milestone with the opening of the tenth office

Technology Services company Etteplan's operations expand further in China as the company opens its tenth office in the country. The expansion of East China responds to the growing demand for Etteplan's services among local customers in the area.
The new office is located in the city of Nanjing which is the capital of Jiangsu province, a megacity and the second largest city by population in the East China region.
"We see significant potential in China as the local companies are starting to open up for new partnership models and outsourcing of services. The new Nanjing office is a natural step forward as we continue investing in the Chinese market. We're happy to be able to provide engineering services locally in Nanjing, close to our customers", says Juha Näkki, President and CEO of Etteplan.
Etteplan was the first Nordic engineering solutions provider to enter the Chinese market in 2004. The company provides industrial equipment and machinery engineering solutions, software and embedded solutions, and technical documentation solutions.
The new office brings the number of Chinese cities that Etteplan operates in to ten: Shanghai, Beijing, Kunshan, Suzhou, Xi'an, Qingdao, Wuhan, Shenzhen, Taicang and Nanjing. Etteplan's staff in China now totals over 400 people.
