MOSCOW, October 10, 2013 -Eurasia Drilling CompanyLimited ("EDC" or the "Company" - LSE: EDCL), the leading onshore andoffshore drilling service provider in the CIS,has been notified that S. Douglas Stinemetz, General Counsel of EDC, purchased2,560 GDRs of the Company at a price of USD 39.00 per GDR on October 8, 2013. After this transaction, Mr. Stinemetz's total holdings in theCompany amount to 24,892 GDRs (equivalent to 24,892 common shares), representingapproximately 0.02% of the Issued and Outstanding Shares of the Company.

EDC is the largest provider ofonshore drilling services in Russia, as measured by the number of metresdrilled, providing onshore integrated well construction services and workoverservices. The Company also providesoffshore drilling services in the Caspian Sea and is the largest provider ofsuch services in the sectors where it operates based on the number of jack-updrilling rigs. The Company offers its onshore integrated well constructionservices and workover services to local and international oil and gas companiesprimarily in Russia and its offshore drilling services to Russian andinternational oil and gas companies in the Russian, Kazakh and Turkmen sectorsof the Caspian Sea.
