PAI Europe VII managed by PAI Partners agreed to acquire 59.8% stake in Asmodée Editions SAS from Eurazeo SE (ENXTPA:RF) for an enterprise value of €1.2 billion on July 23, 2018. PAI intends to support the current management team in its plans to grow the business further through international expansion both organically and by acquisition. Asmodee realized a turnover of €442 million in 2017. The relevant employee works councils of Asmodee will be consulted in respect of the transaction and completion of the transaction will be subject to regulatory approval, FTC approval and other customary conditions precedent. As of September 4, 2018, the deal has been approved by FTC. As of September 11, 2018, PAI Partners has filed for the European Commission approval and the provisional deadline has been set as October 16, 2018. As of October 16, 2018, the transaction is approved by European Commission. The disposal is could be finalized by fourth quarter of 2018.
