Evercore announced that Eric Neveux and Graham Nix have joined the firm as senior managing directors in the Financial Institutions Group based in Chicago and New York, respectively. Their arrival marks Evercore?s latest effort in continuing to build its financial institutions business, which has been an area of significant investment and expansion. Mr. Neveux brings over two decades of investment banking experience to Evercore from Goldman Sachs.
Most recently, he was a partner, head of banks and specialty finance for the Americas and co-head of investment banking for the Midwest region, focused on strategic advice for banks and specialty finance companies. Mr. Neveux began his career at Goldman Sachs as an analyst in 2001. He holds a B.S. in finance from Indiana University?s Kelley School of Business.
Mr. Nix joins Evercore from Morgan Stanley, where he most recently served as a managing director in the financial institutions group. He has nearly 20 years of investment banking experience advising banks and financial companies across mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and balance sheet solutions. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Mr. Nix was a director advising regional banks at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, and an associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
He holds a B.S. in accounting and business administration from Washington & Lee University.
