SIF Moldova invests in a new real estate project, developed by Straulesti Lac Alfa. The project is a phased out development of 1,400 apartments on an area of approximately 9 ha, in the North West of Bucharest. The apartment's architecture, relaxation areas, proximity to Colosseum Retail Park and public transport, the easy access to Victoriei Square and the northern area of the capital, together with the omnipresent nature and the Colentina river neighborhood, are the key strengths of this project, which is meant to be the "window" of a new, lasting urban life.

SIF Moldova invests in Straulesti Lac Alfa along with City Ring Property, which is a company owned by Liviu Lepadatu and Eugen Lepadatu, who will also manage the development of the real estate project.

SIF Moldova total investment will amount to 8.3 million euros, in several phases . The project funding is ensured through both equity and bank loans. The project estimated value is in excess of € 100 million.

This is SIF Moldova's third real estate project in Bucharest, following the Veranda Mall and Baba Novac Residence investments. The results achieved in the development and operation of these projects have validated our strategy and investment decisions. We will continue to focus our efforts on the residential real estate sector, especially in the northern area of Bucharest, adjacent to the A3 motorway.

The investment is in line with the strategy approved by the shareholders of SIF Moldova aimed at developing a portfolio of private equity investments, focusing on the real estate and agribusiness sectors, where medium and long-term growth opportunities are identified. The private equity approach implies a direct involvement in entrepreneurial projects that lead to increased profitability of the assets under management and enables to offset the risk of possible declines regarding the holdings in listed companies.
