Evergy, Inc. (NYSE:EVRG) entered into an agreement to acquire 199-megawatt Persimmon Creek Wind Farm in western Oklahoma from Elawan Energy, S.L. and Scout Clean Energy, LLC for approximately $250 million on August 9, 2022. The transaction remains subject to closing conditions, including regulatory approvals. The acquisition is expected to close by early 2023.
