Nov 1 (Reuters) - Sri Lankan shares closed higher on Tuesday, supported by industrial and financial stocks.

* The CSE All-Share index closed 0.04% higher at 8,605.85, exchange data showed.

* Sri Lanka's energy and power minister Kanchana Wijesekera said on Tuesday his country was expecting a diesel shipment from China that will possibly arrive by the end of November in the face of a deep financial crisis.

* Conglomerate Expolanka Holdings Plc and LOLC Holdings Plc were the top boosts to the index, rising 14.5% and 3% respectively

* Trading volume on the CSE All-Share index rose to 33 million shares from 42.8 million in the previous session.

* The equity market's turnover was 1.26 billion Sri Lankan rupees ($3.49 million), according to exchange data.

* Foreign investors were net buyers in the equity market, purchasing 68.4 million rupees of shares, while domestic investors were net sellers, offloading stocks worth 1.25 billion rupees, data showed.
