Ezaki Glico Co., Ltd. announced consolidated earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the period, the company reported Net Sales were ¥160,300 million against net sales of ¥165,975 million a year ago. Operating profit was ¥9,971 million against operating profit of ¥8,731 million a year ago. Profit attributable to owner of the parent company was ¥7,880 million against profit attributable to owner of the parent company of ¥6,283 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was ¥121.54 against basic earnings per share of ¥96.79 a year ago.
Ezaki Glico Co., Ltd.is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of food products. The Company operates in five business segments. Confectionery & Food segment provides chocolate, gum, biscuits, snacks, curry roux, and retort products. Frozen Confectionery segment provides ice creams and other products. Dairy Products segment provides milk beverages and Western confectionery. Food Ingredients segment provides starch and pigments. Overseas segment provides confectionery and frozen desserts in other countries.
