Up to now, there is a famous saying in the education circle that is highly praised: 'the so-called university is not only a building, but also a master.' The scale and hardware of running education are certainly important, but they are second after all. The most important thing is that well-educated and profound masters lead the way.

This is not only true of universities, but also true of all stages of education. It must be a great blessing for every stage of learning to have a master to preach and give lessons to dispel doubts.

At a time when the educational achievements of the past year have been fruitful, we are delighted to welcome a proud 'new partner':

Michael O'Sullivan, former chief executive officer of Cambridge university's department of international evaluation, a master of international education authority, formally joined Far East Horizon as the general adviser of A-Level courses and English subject adviser of the education group research institute.

We are committed to creating the most suitable education for more Chinese students.

O 'Sullivan is a bachelor of arts from Oxford university and a master of linguistics from Cambridge university. He is proficient in Chinese, German, French, Spanish and other languages. He worked in the British embassy in China for 7 years and was responsible for arranging scholarships for Chinese students studying in Britain.

Over the years, O 'Sullivan has always contributed to the promotion of educational and cultural exchanges between China and Britain and summed up the advantages of Chinese education. He said that the efforts of Chinese students, the support of their families and the depth of their studies are ahead of those of most other countries, so he is committed to creating the most suitable educational courses and environment for Chinese students so that more outstanding students can enjoy the educational resources of the international leading level.

Agreement of Educational Ideas

Far East Horizon's Education of Integration of East and West Has Been Favored by International Experts

Under the background of globalization, educational resources are flowing and gathering widely in the world, and like-minded educators can collide with new sparks.

Talking about the original intention of the cooperation between the two sides, O 'Sullivan said that the integration of Chinese and western education will become the trend of future international education development. He greatly appreciated Far East Horizon's integration of Chinese and western curriculum construction and teaching innovation in the K-12 education system. The whole group has a high-quality high-end education orientation and an international perspective, which has laid a solid foundation for training more Chinese students into global elites.

As one of the earliest institutions in China engaged in comprehensive financial services for the education, science, culture and sports industry, Far East Horizon has been deeply engaged in the field of education for nearly 20 years, focusing on building a K-12 full-chain high-end education system from kindergarten to high school. Currently, it has four schools offering international courses: Shanghai Hongwen School, Qingdao School, Chengdu School and British National Arts and Sciences School.

The group advocates combining and linking traditional Chinese culture education with British education and American education, integrating world-renowned A-level, IGCSE, SAT and other authoritative courses and evaluation systems. At the same time, according to the educational concept of 'cultivating interests and specialties, career planning and development', each student is allowed to cultivate interests and develop specialties, and has multiple competitive advantages to meet domestic and international challenges.

The more integrated, the better able you are to learn from others and the better able you are to focus on your achievements. According to statistics, over the years, 17% of the graduates of Far East Horizon's International Curriculum High School have entered the world's top 10 universities, 48% of the graduates have attended the world's top 50 universities, and more than 90% of the graduates have been admitted to the world's top 100 universities.

After joining Far East Horizon, O 'Sullivan also visited Qingdao School, Chengdu School and Shanghai Hongwen School successively. He made a comprehensive and careful understanding and investigation of the school's teaching and the training of teachers and students. In the process of full communication with the school's student leaders, he felt the elegant demeanour of the Far East students and gave extremely high evaluation to the school's teacher level, teaching mode and student quality.

Adhering to the integration of China and the West and reaping the fruits of innovation is one of the important reasons why Far East Horizon is favored by international education experts.

Continue to hold hands with global resources

Jointly Create Elite, International and High-end Education

At present, O 'Sullivan is also an academician of Cambridge University College. He has rich and high-quality resources and experience in guiding further studies in international education. In the future, he will deeply participate in curriculum construction, teacher training, student evaluation and other aspects. He will bring international advanced educational concepts and methods to all the schools under the Group and help more Chinese students to open the doors of the world's top universities.

With the addition of more authoritative international education experts like O 'Sullivan, Far East Horizon Education will reach a new and higher level in promoting internationalized, elite and high-end education.

Ren guofang, the chief principal of Far East Horizon Education Group, has also stressed on many occasions that today's education needs a broad view of education, adhering to the school-running tenet of 'people-oriented, integration of China and the West, and elite education'.We hope to train outstanding students with social contribution, scientific innovation, and international competitiveness, so that every student can go to the world with confidence and integrate the essence of Chinese culture into the world culture.

Adhering to the mission of 'gathering global resources to help China's industry', Far East Horizon is drawing up a new blueprint in the reform and innovation in the field of education. It is expected to become an innovative force in China's education sector in the future and contribute unique values to the future-oriented education.
