FARMAK In March 2022, Farmak officially announced that it does not trade with the russian federation and the republic of Belarus. Since then, the position of the company has remained unchanged. We condemn the outright terrorism of russia against the Ukrainian people and make every effort on our front for a speedy Victory.
Now in the media, and Telegram channels, information is being spread that the Farmak company continues to trade with russia. Without checking the information, the media and other communication platforms refer to old articles officially refuted by Farmak in March 2022.
Even at the beginning of a full-scale war, the company officially stated that the representative office of the company in russia was abolished in 2014, and any cooperation with the republic of Belarus was also terminated.
That is, since February 24, 2022, on the first day of the open-armed aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine, Farmak has not made a single shipment of medicines to russia and the republic of Belarus. The representative office in Belarus has also been closed.
Despite the company's warehouses with finished products worth UAH 1.5 billion being destroyed by the enemy, and the difficult energy situation, the company continues to work and makes every effort to prevent a shortage of medicines vital for the army and the population. For 9 months of 2022, the company paid UAH 550 million in taxes to the budgets of all levels and provided assistance to the army for more than UAH 30 million. Moreover, during the war, the company continues to invest and develop the economy in the country. Thus, in May 2022, Farmak opened a new site in Kyiv for the manufacture of a critically important drug in nebules for the treatment of respiratory diseases, introduced 11 new drugs to the market, and is constantly working to modernize its Ukrainian factories. More than 60 employees of the company defend our country in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
All the efforts of the Farmak are aimed at helping the country in the terrible times of the war. For our part, we ask the media to carefully check the information published in various communication channels and refrain from manipulation in such a difficult period for the whole country.
