Fasadgruppen and El-Björn AB has initiated a collaboration project with the purpose of finding more energy efficient solutions and methods that enable more sustainable heating during façade works.

The overall focus is to find more energy efficient and CO2 neutral solutions for heating of façade works during the winter period. The collaboration will mainly take place through dialogue and experience sharing in order to test and examine new solutions that will reduce the energy consumption and climate impact. Practical tests with alternative heating methods and a joint assessment of the results will take place during the autumn and winter of 2021.

El-Björn is a leading company in solutions for temporary use of power, lighting and climate products in the construction sector. Both El-Björn and Fasadgruppen have previously joined Färdplan 2045 (Eng. Roadmap 2045), where the government initiative Fossil Free Sweden’s roadmap for the construction sector is included.

Pål Warolin, CEO of Fasadgruppen said: ”Sustainability is a core issue for Fasadgruppen and together with El-Björn we will have the opportunity to challenge ourselves and minimise our climate impact. As the largest façade company in the Nordics, we also want to be a role model for our industry in terms of sustainable development.”

Christian Harström, Head of Product at El-Björn, said: ”We look forward to the cooperation with Fasadgruppen and believe them to be a good partner with many companies throughout the Nordic region. Together we will create better opportunities to develop products that support both productivity and the transition to fossil free construction.”
