Energy management system of Rosseti FGC UES successfully audited

Three-year certificates of conformity with the requirements of international and national standards (ISO 50001:2018 and GOST R ISO 50001-2012) have been obtained. Audit was conducted by the experts of DQS Holding, one of the world's largest certification bodies. The opinions of independent auditors prove that the integrated efforts of Rosseti FGC UES to save energy and improve energy efficiency are made up to par and fully comply with the existing standards.

They emphasize the company's commitment to continuous improvement of its energy performance (reduction of technological consumption of heat and electricity, motor fuel), the expertise of managers and personnel.

Experts believe that the workforce training system of Rosseti FGC UES, participation in a variety of competitions and forums ensures the development of staff competencies, thus contributing to the achievement of targets.

The employment of state-of-the-art and innovative technologies and solutions has a crucial role to play in the achievement of energy saving and energy efficiency improvement targets of Rosseti FGC UES. For example, as part of implementing the national Energy Efficient Substation Project, Rosseti FGC UES employs the technologies of frequency control and heat recovery in cooling systems of power transformers and reactors at its electricity transmission grid facilities.

The auditors were also very complimentary about the use of automated system for providing informational and analytical support for the conduct of energy inspections.

The company obtained its first certificates of conformity with the requirements of standards in 2014. Recertification audit was successfully passed three years later. In 2020, the audit was performed by one of the world's leading independent auditors - DQS Holding. It is a co-founder of IQNet, the largest and most reputable international network of certification bodies. Upon the completion of audit, DQS Holding issues certificates of both the organization itself and IQNet.
