PITTSBURGH (AP) _ Federated Hermes, Inc. (FHI) on Thursday reported second-quarter earnings of $55.9 million.

On a per-share basis, the Pittsburgh-based company said it had profit of 56 cents. Earnings, adjusted for pretax expenses, were 67 cents per share.

The results met Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 67 cents per share.

The one of the nation's largest managers of money market funds posted revenue of $311 million in the period.

Federated Hermes shares have increased 15% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $33.11, an increase of 34% in the last 12 months.
