MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) _ FedEx Corp. (FDX) on Thursday reported fiscal fourth-quarter net income of $558 million.

On a per-share basis, the Memphis, Tennessee-based company said it had profit of $2.13. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to $6.87 per share.

The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of eight analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $6.91 per share.

The package delivery company posted revenue of $24.39 billion in the period, which beat Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $24.28 billion.

For the year, the company reported profit of $3.83 billion, or $14.33 per share. Revenue was reported as $93.51 billion.

FedEx expects full-year earnings in the range of $22.50 to $24.50 per share.
