FedEx has once again been selected for inclusion on the Black Enterprise (BE) Best Companies for Diversity list. The list will appear in the September issue of the magazine (which hits newsstands in mid-October) and on www.blackenterprise.com. According to BE, FedEx joins an exclusive roster of major corporations that have 'demonstrated best practices through their diverse representation within their employee base, senior management ranks, corporate boards and supplier pools.'

'As a company that has worked diligently over the years to sustain a people-oriented culture that values diversity and inclusion, we're delighted that our achievements have consistently earned FedEx a place on Black Enterprise's list of '40 Best Companies for Diversity,' says Shannon Brown, Senior Vice President and Chief HR/Diversity Officer at FedEx Express. 'We're happy to have received this recognition, and proud of our longstanding involvement with Black Enterprise initiatives.'

The announcement of this year's list was made at the October 8th Executive Leadership Council Recognition Gala in National Harbor, MD. Representing FedEx at that event were several FedEx executives including SVP of US Operations for FedEx Express Matthew Thornton, III and CVP Government Relations for FedEx Corporation, Gina Adams.
