Every weekend in the fall, millions of football fans flock to stadiums all over the country to cheer on their favorite teams. What most people don't see is all the work that goes on behind the scenes to deliver the ultimate game-day experience.

FedEx teamed up with the United Service Organizations (USO) to give four military veterans a unique on-the-job career opportunity with the Tennessee Titans and Washington Redskins. As part of the inaugural FedEx Football Fellowship program, each of the four veterans spent 12 weeks with one of the NFL organizations, rotating between a variety of roles, including marketing, community relations and stadium operations.

The FedEx Football Fellowship, an extension of the FedEx Air & Ground program, was created to assist recently transitioned veterans as they navigate their way from military to civilian life. More than 200,000 Americans go through this process each year.
