Item 8.01. Other Events.

On January 25, 2023, Fennec Pharmaceuticals Inc. issued a news release announcing the National Comprehensive Cancer Network® (NCCN) has updated its clinical practice guidelines for Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Oncology to include PEDMARK® (sodium thiosulfate injection) to help reduce the risk of ototoxicity (hearing loss) associated with cisplatin use in pediatric patients with localized, non-metastatic solid tumors. A copy of the news release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
