Ferrari NV said Monday that it has launched a new organizational leadership structure.

"The new organizational structure will further foster innovation, optimize processes and increase collaboration both internally and with partners," the Italian sport-car maker said.

Among the latest appointments, Gianmaria Fulgenzi has been appointed as chief product development officer, Ernesto Lasalandra is now chief research & development officer, and Davide Abate was named chief technologies & infrastructures officer, Ferrari said.

Ferrari's restructure is "consistent with its strategic objectives to nurture the exclusivity of the brand, enrich product excellence, stay true to its racing DNA and focus on the achievement of carbon neutrality by 2030," the Maranello-based company said.
