Ferrovial, S.A. (BME:FER) reached an agreement to acquire a 48.96% stake in Concessionaire for the new Terminal 1 at JFK International Airport in New York City from Carlyle Global Infrastructure Opportunity Fund, L.P., managed by The Carlyle Group Inc. (NasdaqGS:CG) for $1.1 billion on June 6, 2022. The closing of the deal would be subject to the usual conditions for this type of transactions, including the approval of Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Citi advised Carlyle.
