LONDON (AP) _ Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV (FCAU) on Friday reported a second-quarter loss of $1.15 billion, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the London-based company said it had a loss of 73 cents. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 72 cents per share.

The automaker posted revenue of $12.89 billion in the period.

Fiat Chrysler shares have dropped 29% since the beginning of the year. The stock has decreased 19% in the last 12 months.
