Fiera Milano, through its subsidiary Fiera Milano Media - Business International, and in co-production with MiCo - Milano Congressi, launches from 6 to 8 November 'Artificial Intelligence Expo of Application (AIXA)', a B2B event that aims to explore the different applications of Artificial Intelligence (IA) on the entire production and business cycle: from new generation implementations on design and manufacturing, to the role of advanced technologies in the transformation of distribution and market and communication strategies, up to the change in the relationship with customers.

According to a recent study by Mc Kinsey Global Institute entitled 'Notes from the frontier: Modeling the impact of AI on the world economy', by 2030, the widespread adoption of artificial intelligence could contribute to a global GDP growth of $ 13 trillion. Companies that fully absorb IA technologies within the next 5-7 years and that are characterized by a strong digital knowledge, and a greater propensity to invest in AI, could double their cash flow by 2030. On the contrary, companies that do not adopt such technologies or that have not completely absorbed them in their companies by 2030 could suffer a drop of about 20% of their cash flow.

The event will open on the morning of 6 November with a focus on cyber security in the interconnected business. Speakers on the topic, among others, will be: Mr. Andrea Rigoni, Deloitte Italy and international expert on Cyber Security and Mr. Gabriele Faggioli, President of Clusit, Italian Association for Information Security.

In parallel, a session dedicated to the role of modern technologies in the digital transformation of the retail world will take place. Artificial intelligence is rapidly proving the turning point for the retail industry, thus introducing a complete paradigm shift, so, shifting the focus from the use of big data to the single consumer market, from the world of 'Intelligent Things' to the presence of Robots in the store. The session, entitled 'InTAIL - International B2B Conference + Expo', will host speeches of Italian best practices such as Mondadori Retail, Auchan, Leroy Merlin, international IA experts and innovative startups. At the end of the day, there will be the keynote of Eddie Choi, digital marketer, precursor of the development of new technologies and marketing strategies for the fair sector and speaker at 'Exhibitionist', the series of meetings managed by Fondazione Fiera Milano. In 2000, Choi developed the first B2B online portal in China for the world's second largest plastics and rubber fair.

On 7 and 8 November, Artificial Intelligence will be among the themes of the two days of 'SMXL Milan - Search and Social Media Marketing Expo', an international digital marketing blockbuster with 6 parallel sessions, 50 track sessions and over 100 speakers representing the best world digital realities, including: Linkedin (Mr. Jason Miller, Head of Content and Social); Facebook (Mr. Paolo Picazio, Global Marketing Partnership); Unbounce (Mr. Oli Gardner, co-founder and one of the world's leading conversion and digital marketing experts). And, in addition, Mrs. Aleyda Solis, inserted by Forbes and Entrepreneur among the top 10 web marketing specialists and on-line marketing influencers.

'Being able to catalyze discussions that focus on the advanced present, that is on the applications of the IA itself, it also represents for Fiera Milano the beginning of a path that wants to take into account the consolidation of relationships between the most oriented forms of business innovation and the most advanced scientific research. A focus that starts with this forum and that we will continue in the coming years' Mr. Fabrizio Curci, CEO of Fiera Milano, commented.
