UPDATES OF THE FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE OF THE GROUP

FOR THE NINE MONTHS ENDED 30 SEPTEMBER 2018

This announcement is made by Finsoft Financial Investment Holdings Limited ("Company", together with its subsidiaries, "Group") pursuant to Rule 17.10 of the Rules ("GEM Listing Rules") Governing the Listing of Securities on GEM of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited ("Stock Exchange") and the Inside Information Provisions (as defined in the GEM Listing Rules) under Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Chapter 571, Laws of Hong Kong).

The board ("Board") of directors ("Directors") of the Company wishes to inform the shareholders of the Company ("Shareholders") and potential investors that, based on the information currently available to the Board, the Group currently expects to record a decrease in its net profit by not less than 50% for the nine months ended 30 September 2018 ("2018 Q3") as compared with that of approximately HK$16.2 million for the corresponding period in 2017. Such decrease was mainly attributable to the combined effects of (i) the absence of gains on disposal of available-for-sale investments, subsidiaries and an associate and profit guarantee income, all being one-off in nature, during 2018 Q3, while such gains and income were recorded in the corresponding period in 2017; and (ii) the decrease in administrative expenses in 2018 Q3 due to the decrease in equity-settled share-based payments recognised for the share options granted by the Company of approximately HK$6.8 million.

The information contained in this announcement is only based on the preliminary assessment by the management of the Company of the unaudited consolidated management accounts of the Group for 2018 Q3 and is not based on any figure or information which has been audited or reviewed by the Company's auditors. The Company is in the process of finalising the consolidated results of the Group for 2018 Q3. Details of the financial information and performance of the Group will be disclosed in the Company's quarterly results announcement for 2018 Q3, which is expected to be published in mid-November 2018.
