An unknown buyer entered into a binding agreement to acquire a 100% interest in Towerlane Centre & Airdrie Village in the Calgary bedroom community of Airdrie from First Capital Real Estate Investment Trust (TSX:FCR.UN) on August 10, 2021. In related transactions, First Capital Real Estate Investment Trust (TSX : FCR.UN) also entered into binding agreements to sell a 100% interest in Langley Mall located within the Vancouver bedroom community of Langley and a 50% interest in Station Place, through its partnership in Main & Main, to Centurion Apartment REIT on August 10, 2021. The aggregate combined sale price of all agreements is approximately CAD 224 million. Closing of the Towerlane Centre & Airdrie Village sale remains subject to certain closing conditions typical for transactions of this type and is scheduled to occur near the end of the third quarter. An unknown buyer completed the acquisition of a 100% interest in Towerlane Centre & Airdrie Village in the Calgary bedroom community of Airdrie from First Capital Real Estate Investment Trust (TSX:FCR.UN) during the third quarter of 2021.
