BOSTON (AP) _ First Eagle Alternative Capital BDC, Inc (FCRD) on Tuesday reported a third-quarter loss of $1.5 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the Boston-based company said it had a loss of 4 cents. Earnings, adjusted for investment costs, came to 13 cents per share.

The business development company posted revenue of $8.9 million in the period.
